Child Safety Policy

Last updated: July 2026

glitr has zero tolerance for the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. This policy explains our stance and what we do about it. It is part of our Rules and Terms of Service.

Our stance

We prohibit any content, conduct, or account that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses minors — collectively referred to as child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes, without limitation:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
  • Sexualized depictions of minors, real or fictional.
  • Grooming, or attempting to contact a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Sextortion, or soliciting sexual content from a minor.
  • Sharing, requesting, or linking to any of the above.

There are no exceptions to this policy, and no framing, context, or claimed purpose makes this content acceptable on glitr.

What we do

When we become aware of this content or conduct, we:

  • Remove the content and terminate the account(s) involved.
  • Preserve relevant records as required by law.
  • Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and cooperate with law enforcement.

Reporting CSAM to NCMEC is a legal obligation, and we take it seriously regardless of glitr being a small hobby project.

Reporting to us

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, report it immediately to security@glitr.space. Please include enough detail for us to locate the content (such as a link or username).

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first.

You can also report directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678 (US).

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use glitr. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account. If you believe an underage user has an account, let us know at contact@glitr.space.
